Jennifer was introduced to dance at the age of two by her mom, Miss Debbie.  She has extensive training in jazz, tap, ballet, clogging, contemporary and drill team technique. Jennifer is also a certified teacher with Acrobatic Arts. Jennifer danced competitively for many years with her dance company, as well as her high school dance team, where she was a PN-G Indianette Lieutenant. Jennifer continued her training in both theatre and dance at Sam Houston State University, where she double majored in Theatre and Dance and was also a select member of Dance Spectrum. After attending college, she was then offered a scholarship to the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City.  It was here where Jennifer became a proud member of the AMDA Dance Company and had the opportunity to study under some of Broadway’s top choreographers. In addition to her conservatory training, Jennifer has also had the opportunity to train at Broadway Dance Center and Steps in New York City , and The Edge in Los Angeles.  Some of her favorite Theatre and Dance credits include: Hello Dolly!, Hairspray, Sweet Charity, Jesus Christ Superstar, and 9 to 5. In New York, Jennifer was also a member of The Dramatic Adventure Theatre; a select group of artists who traveled throughout South America performing for various communities, aiding in service projects to help the less fortunate, and ultimately striving to make a difference through their art.

Jennifer currently resides in Houston, TX, where she teaches and choreographs for local dance studios and is on staff with VIP Dance Competition. This year will be Jennifer’s 5th year on staff at Debbie’s Dance Etc. where she teaches a variety of dance classes and is also a Dance Company Instructor.
