Debbie’s Dance Etc. offers opportunities for their dancers to experience the fun and exhilaration of dancing competitively.

Debbie’s Dance Company is by audition only. All company placements are determined by an audition process and are based on age, technical ability, level of interest, work ethic, and attitude.  It is an honor to be offered a spot on a company team.  Being a member of the DDE Company is a year long commitment from both students and parents.

Since it is our goal to instill the passion for performing rather than merely the desire to compete, intensive dancers have performance opportunities other than competitions.

We believe the lessons learned through performances are just as valuable as the competition experience.

Our competition teams are under the direction of Debbie Broussard, Jennifer LaThanh, Breana Segura and Rebekah Barbosa. Our Mini competition team was started in 2019 under the direction of Tori Domingue. The students compete in the Spring at local competitions and one at the National level. Being on this team requires extra time commitments to compete, but we believe it’s the foundation on taking the next step in becoming a well-rounded dancer and individual. We also believe that we are the building blocks for those students who wish to join their high school dance teams or those who would like to pursue dance in college.
